General Pediatrics in the department of pediatrics

Health Policy

The Division of General Pediatrics has a Center for Policy, Outcomes and Prevention directed by Drs. Paul Wise, Thomas Robinson, and Sarah Horwitz.  This center is integrated into the Center for Health Policy/Primary Care Outcomes Research Center, in the Department of Medicine. The Center for Policy, Outcomes and Prevention focuses on childhood obesity prevention, health care access of children with special health care needs, and social determinants of risk for children, mothers and families.  In additions to Professors Wise, Robinson and Horwitz, Dr. Lisa Chamberlain heads efforts in child advocacy, and Dr. Lynne Huffman examines access to mental health services.
