Global Health Disparities
Paul Wise, MD, MPH, Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics, maintains an active research interest in children’s health globally, with a particular focus on the causes of and policy solutions to disparities in children’s health outcomes by race, ethnicity and socioeconomic status. His research also focuses on the interaction of genetics and the environment as these factors influence child and maternal health, and the impact of medical technology on disparities in health outcomes among children.
