Clinical Training
Medical students
Medical students enrolled in the core pediatrics clerkship spend time in Primary Care Clinic, well-baby nursery, and on the ward teams at LPCH and Packard El Camino. The Division oversees a four-week, intensively mentored LPCH subinternship, led by Noelle Johnstone, MD. Unique points of emphasis in our medical student clinical training programs include cross-cultural communication, self-directed learning, and reflective practice.
