Community
While the Stanford Medical Center is able to provide some of the highest quality and most advanced medical care to its patients, we must always be aware that the Medical Center is located in a community that continues to have substantial populations that are medically underserved. In an ongoing effort to reduce health disparities among the children in these underserved populations, the Division of General Pediatrics and its faculty are involved in a number of community-based programs and activities.
Below we describe several of these programs and their target populations and services.
